Quicksilver is composed of trumpeters Doug Lindsey and Davy DeArmond.  Their collaboration stems from their work together with Cooper Street Brass, an Aspen Music Festival alumni brass quintet.  Quicksilver has collaborated in solo and chamber recitals across the country and continues to commission new works for trumpet duo.

Dr. Doug Lindsey serves as Assistant Professor of Trumpet at Kennesaw State University.  He has performed with the Atlanta Symphony, Memphis Symphony, Georgia Symphony, Macon Symphony, and the Georgia Brass Band.  Alongside pianist, Judy Cole, he has performed solo recitals across the country as a founding member of Duo Trompiano.  In addition to solo work, Dr. Lindsey has performed with the Wisconsin Brass Quintet, Yale Faculty Brass Quintet, Atticus Brass Quintet and enjoys an active chamber music career as first trumpet with the Premiere Brass, as founding member of the Atlanta Trumpet League, and as a member of the Isthmus Brass. 

Dr. Davy DeArmond serves as trumpet instrumentalist with the United States Naval Academy Band.  He has performed with the Charleston Symphony, Connecticut Ballet, Lexington Philharmonic, Knoxville Symphony, Chattanooga Symphony, Annapolis Symphony, Delaware Symphony, Richmond (IN) Symphony, and was principal trumpet of the Oak Ridge Symphony. He has performed with the Washington Symphonic Brass, Signature Theatre Orchestra and Musica Viva and has toured nationally with Mr. Jack Daniel's Original Silver Cornet Band and the USAF Heartland of America Band. He serves on faculties of The Catholic University of America, Washington College, and Anne Arundel Community College.
